
Ingrid set up Acorn PR in 2007 when she saw the poor value that many charities were getting out of their PR agency. In 2009, she was shortlisted as a finalist in the Hertfordshire Business Awards for her role in setting up Acorn PR and providing affordable, ethical PR to charities.
Before setting up Acorn PR, Ingrid worked for over 10 years in a variety of marketing-related roles in the private and voluntary sector, including as as Communications Manager for international development charity Computer Aid, as a journalist and editor for leading technology news site CNET, and as a web developer for media firms Carlton and Whybin TBWA.
A published author, Ingrid holds a 1st class MA in Biological Sciences from the University of Oxford and a Certificate in Periodicals Journalism from the Journalism Training Centre.
